Electrical defects should never be taken lightly,
electrical problems can cause fires, injury and
death. We suggest that you have all
electrical problems addressed by a licensed
electrical contractor.
Electrical
components that we inspect include: |

Main electrical panel & service entrance
- We inspect the main panel for properly sized wires
and breakers, improperly wired breakers, bonding and
general wiring defects. We ensure the service
entrance is properly run including height
requirements for overhead service conductors.
- Lighting fixtures, switches &
receptacles - We test the majority of the
homes light fixtures, switches and receptacles for
proper operation, grounding and polarity. We
also inspect for general condition.
- Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI)
- We test all GFCI outlets for proper
operation and verify that they will trip as
required. Your home inspection report will
describe what areas have GFCI outlets installed.
